Michigan destroyed Michigan Tech, 77-55 in Ann Arbor last night in the first game played by a Big Ten team this season. This was a 65 possession game where 44.4% of Michigan's shots were from behind the arc, showing that Beilein ball is alive and well. Manny Harris was stellar, scoring 30 points on just 15 shots. DeShawn Sims chipped in with a dub-dub of 10 points and 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes. I'm going to go on record here and say that this not starting Sims business should stop soon. The Wolverines need rebounders, and he's a rebounder (to wit, Big Ten Geeks favorite Zack Gibson netted just 2 boards in 24 minutes of play). Box score.
